Tracy Dudley • Village Galleries Maui
Tracy Dudley graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida with a BFA in 1986. During the spring of 1988, she made her first visit to Maui, leaving the crowds and heat of South Florida for a 3 month windsurfing vacation. Within a few days she knew Maui would be her new home. Living on the north shore, she explores the rugged landscapes and waters with her paintbrush, paddle board and OC1 (outrigger canoe).
Nature and the outdoor world are Tracy’s main inspiration for her calm and thoughtful works. Tracy currently paints with oils, acrylics on canvas or wood panels and the occasional watercolor. She also works in many forms of original printmaking including hand pulled color lithographs, aquatint etching and mono printing.
Update September 19, 2023 Following the loss of the gallery in the fire Aug.8th, we encourage our collectors to reach out directly to support our artists. Below are 6 images of available work at Tracy’s studio. We’ve also included images of work not available as the artist may consider a commission if the piece was lost in the recent Lahaina Fire.
