Represented by Village Galleries....Beth Marcil

Beth’s passion for the richness and the energetic colors of nature began while doing her post graduate work at The Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida where she was surrounded by a lush, tropical environment.
Maui, the island life, and the ethnic diversity which is Hawaii has further influenced Beth's growth as an artist, and is easily seen in her works.
Beth came to the islands from a commercial art background. It was a giant step from the position of creative director for Kaplan Press, a publisher of educational materials for children, to the life of an independent artist living in Maui. It was a step that she took like a dancer.
Beth Marcil and her works have been featured in such publications as Art News, Pacific Art and Travel and Aloha magazine. Her pieces have been exhibited nationally, in statewide invitational and juried shows, and may be found in many private and public collections. One of Marcil's watercolors, "Grant Us Life", was featured on the Maui Writers' Conference posters and literature and she was the signature artist for the 2009 Celebration of the Arts at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.

Beth frequently participates in the Artist-In-Residence program at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and the annual Celebration of the Arts. Orginal work and giclee prints are available at Village Galleries.
