“My paintings are usually about capturing a quiet moment in nature or in life. At the same time I like to use strong, dynamic color, and accentuate the light and shadow in my paintings to create depth and realism. I am inspired by the natural beauty of Hawaii, and hope to share that inspiration with the people who view my work.

I'm very excited to announce that one of my paintings, "Autumn Light", was accepted into the 2018 NWS International Exhibition. After being accepted into the show, I was invited to send three more paintings to be juried for signature membership in the NWS. I received a call from Robbie Laird, the president of NWS, with the good news that not only was I awarded signature membership, my painting won an award at the show.
